Goal and objective: Under the general guidance and supervision of the Chief of the Social Policy section and in close coordination with the other members of the Social Policy (SP) team, in particular the Social Policy Specialist (Public Finance/Cash Transfer), the Social Policy Officer (Public Finance) will support the SP section in the implementation of the ILO and UNICEF Joint-Project, Improving Synergies between Social Protection and Public Finance Management as well as contribute to the PF4C portfolio. The Social Policy Officer will support the engagement and coordination between ILO and UNICEF and the monitoring of the Joint-Project activities thereby contributing to the projects effective and timely delivery, in alignment with UNICEF rules and regulations. The Social Policy Officer will provide regular feedback on the status of the project, will perform the key functions attributed to him/her of the phases of the Joint-Project as well as follow up and find solutions for issues related to the implementation of the project. The Social Policy Officer will also assist in the drafting documents, minutes of meetings and will support the reporting and monitoring requirements of the Joint-Project and will perform other related assigned tasks.
